With over 18 years of experience in account management, technology, and the corporate sector, Simonia combines business acumen with a deep commitment to social entrepreneurship. She is the founder of Simonia Development Learning Centre (SDLC), where she spearheads programmes that provide education, skills development, mental wellness support, entrepreneurship guidance, and digital literacy opportunities to women and children.
Simonia is a Certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner Holistic Wellness Coach, as well as a Certified Breathwork Facilitator, and Equine Holistic Practitioner, bringing a unique integrative approach to personal and community development.
Her holistic methodology emphasizes mental health, emotional resilience, and well-being alongside practical skills and education.
A social entrepreneur, Simonia bridges the gap between corporate expertise and community empowerment, creating innovative programmes that deliver sustainable social and economic impact.

She served as Chairperson of the Cultural Committee, Deputy Chairperson of the Library Committee, and Founder & Chairperson of the iSchool Press Team, reflecting her commitment to creativity, innovation, and community engagement.
She holds a Degree in Biomedical Engineering and has further specialized in Neurosequential Model skills, combining technical expertise with an understanding of human development and learning. As Gender and Transformation Officer for the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, she is dedicated to promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity within academic and professional environments.
